What is now a beloved fudgy attraction across 15 states started here on the Outer Banks in 1980. A.C. Marshall had the idea to make delicious fudge while singing songs and practicing friendly customer interactions with the public. He believed in making the fudge crafting, buying, and tasting experience as fun as possible! The Fudgery has three Outer Banks locations – Nags Head in the Jockey’s Ridge Crossing shopping center, Duck in the Scarborough Lane Shoppes, and Corolla in the Timbuck II shopping center. In addition to many different fudge flavors, they also offer sweet treats such as ice cream, caramel apples, rice krispie treats, and chocolate-covered marshmallows.
