The Splash Pad is the newest addition to family fun in Kill Devil Hills. Located at Meekins Field Park, the Splash Pad is available to residents and visitors from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 10am-7pm (weather dependent). The area is completely fenced with a gate to prevent kids from leaving. Numerous fountains come from the ground to create different water obstacles, a rain fountain kids can stand under, and buckets that fill with water and dump out onto those standing below. A playground offering swings, slides, a climbing structure, and more is available beside the Splash Pad. An open grassy area is nearby so families can enjoy a nice picnic between the fun.
Please note: There is no lifeguard on duty, and the Splash Pad is subject to close without notice as deemed necessary by Town staff.
